We finally got to see a collaboration between Japanese artists Takashi Murakami and Nike.
The whole pair will be based on two styles "Murakami DNA" and "Murakami Drip." Both teams will be covered in iconic Murakami motifs such as the beloved Happy Flowers. A iconic eye print will also be paired with a contrasting blue Nike swoosh.
The whole thing will be based on NFT which will be exchangeable for a real physical pair of Air Force 1 X Takashi Murakami. Both styles are available on the OpenSea platform. The price of the "Murakami Drip" style is at the moment 0.50 ETH - 960USD and the "DNA" style as much as 4.48ETH - 10000USD. It is also worth mentioning that each collectible includes the RFTKT Bolt symbol and Clone x laces dubraes.
The release date is expected to be between April 24 and March 8.
This is one of the most anticipated and desired collaborations in Nike's history.
People have coveted it so much that they have been creating their own customizations on the Air Force 1 model and more with iconic Takashi Murakami designs.
In our opinion, this is a definite collaboration of the year and an interesting combination of the world of virtual tokens with natural products.
